WNY MUSIC INDUSTRY ALLIANCE

Inspired and fueled by the feedback we receive about our annual Festival, mainly the sentiment that it's the one day a year that artists of all disciplines come together in one place to learn, create, perform, and discover, the Music Industry Alliance welcomes and encourages people from all genres, experience, and interest.

The Music Industry Alliance was created to connect those in and around the music industry in WNY and beyond, to educate, collaborate, and strengthen our creative community. Since 2003, Music is Art has offered programs for our community to highlight the value of music. Invest in yourself - join The Alliance today to get motivated, stay inspired, share your passion, become a leader/mentor, and give back to the WNY community.

ALLIANCE TESTIMONIALS

A few years ago I relocated back to Buffalo after a stint working out of state. I felt disconnected from a music scene that I used to be very involved in. I decided to work on my chops and begin performing again. Around that time I learned of the WNY Music Industry Alliance. Since joining I've been able to rekindle past friendships, make new friends, and find that sense of belonging that I missed in the scene. Learning about better booking practices, digital music distribution, and networking has helped me tremendously. I'm particularly fond of the songwriting peer group. The folks in the group give great constructive criticism.
