IN CONCERT FEB. 12!

Music is Art is proud to foster a connection between our community and the artists of New Orleans and Louisiana through The Big Easy in Buffalo.

The series brings New Orleans and Louisiana bands to the area for school music education, cultural programs, and public concerts, and is centered around the annual Mardi Gras Jam.

The program started as a collaboration between MiA, the Niagara Erie Regional Coalition, and the Buffalo Niagara Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Artists have included: Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Ellis Marsalis, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Marcia Ball, Joe Krown, Pine Leaf Boys, Papa Grows Funk, the subdudes, Eric Lindell,
Jon Cleary, Marc Broussard, Big Sam's Funky Nation, Tab Benoit, Bryan Lee, and Grammy Award winner Terrance Simien.

The Big Easy in Buffalo is now a radio show on WBFO 88.7
Every other Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST.
