It's Battle Time Again!
We're now taking submissions for the 2012 Battle of the Bands! Bands will compete... Enter Here!
Battle of the Bands
Music is Art believes that students need the opportunity to have their musical voices heard.
While schools may have classical or jazz bands, sometimes student bands playing other kinds of music lack that opportunity. For this reason, MiA holds an annual Battle of the Bands open to student bands playing music of any genre.
The finalists compete at a concert in front of their friends, family and the general public. The winner of the battle of the bands receives a main-stage spot at the Music is Art Festival.
Other prizes for winners have included autographed guitars, studio recording time and professional photo shoots.
